Chicken Alfredo with Fettuccine

A combination of heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese makes this 30-minute pasta recipe ultra-rich and creamy. A pound of chicken breast is sliced into thin strips and sautéed until they're cooked through. Then mix it all for the ultimate Italian comfort dish.

Ingredients :

    1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
    Coarse salt
    Ground white pepper
    2 tablespoons unsalted butter
    2 cups heavy cream
    4 cloves garlic, peeled
    ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
    1 pound fettucine

Direction :

    Cut chicken in strips. Season with salt and white pepper and saute in butter. Meanwhile in a separate pot, simmer garlic cloves in cream for 10 minutes.
    Pour cream into pan with chicken, removing garlic cloves. Stir in Parmesan. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
    Toss pasta with sauce and serve with extra Parmesan.
