Kid Friendly Chili

This mild kid-friendly chili is a comforting and satisfying dish that even picky eaters will love, and you can make it in just 30 minutes thanks to a few shortcut ingredients from the pantry.
Sometimes you want to make a chili that simmers for hours, developing a brick red color and a rich chili aroma. Other days, you just need to get dinner on the table that the whole family can enjoy. This kid-friendly chili recipe is barely spiced, but it has a pleasant earthy sweetness from two kinds of tomatoes, onion, and both pork and ground turkey.

Ingredients :

    1 pound ground turkey
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 can (15-3/4 ounces) pork and beans
    1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
    1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup, undiluted
    1 tablespoon brown sugar
    1 tablespoon chili powder
    Oyster or Saltine crackers and shredded cheddar cheese

Direction :

    In a large saucepan, cook turkey and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until heated through, 15-20 minutes. Serve with oyster or saltine crackers and shredded cheddar cheese.
